eyes4earth shares our lived experiences of nature in order to improve education and action for sustainability. It is learning about how people perceive benefits received from nature. It is finding out whether profound encounters with wildlife help reconnect us with biodiversity. And it explores how a ‘wholeness’ approach may shift our consciousness in addressing global environmental issues.
The eyes4earth site invites you to share your stories and opinions. Use the interactive maps, take the online survey, comment on the news and weblogs. Follow us on twitter and share you meaningful moments with nature in real-time. Tell us what your eyes4earth are seeing and help us learn together. You can start right here….
Regular users of the NV&F CaseBase will have noticed that this ecosystem servcies case study database was been removed from the eyes4earth server toward the end of 2009. We regret that technical difficulties and budgetary constraints meant that we could no longer offer CaseBase in a format which we were comfortable with having in the public domain. Thank you to the numerous people have contacted us with positive feedback on the value of this freely available database to their work. Amongst other outputs, CaseBase data supported The Bridgespan Group’s recent release of the State of Ecosystem Services report which can be downloaded here.
